Sunday Feb 08, 2026
Sunday Feb 08, 2026
God created men and women equal in value but with complementary roles. From Genesis 2, women are described as a “helper fit for him,” a role that is honorable and not inferior, reflecting how God helps His people. Men carry primary responsibility for leadership aimed at human flourishing, while women strengthen and complement that work in the home and the church. Both are essential, called to grow, serve, and rely on God’s grace as they pursue healthy families, churches, and communities.

Tuesday Jan 06, 2026
Tuesday Jan 06, 2026
Human identity is not image or achievement but is rooted in God’s redemptive story: created as God’s image bearers, fractured by sin in the fall, and restored through Christ. All people have inherent dignity, yet apart from Christ are sinful and lost. In Christ, believers receive a new identity marked by grace, righteousness, and hope. True identity is found not in works or roles but at the cross, where need and redemption meet.

Because of Jesus, we’re no longer slaves but sons and heirs, and that gives us real hope. The true reason for Christmas is that God sent His Son to meet our greatest need and make us His own.

James ends his letter by calling the church to care for one another through prayer. Whether people are suffering, cheerful, sick, or wandering, each needs the church’s support.
