The church has been given a mission. As a believer and follower of Jesus, we are all commanded to go and make disciples, who get baptized, and then teach them to live for Christ. At Bethel, we say that we exist to love and lead one another to find and follow Jesus. This is our Great Commission!

Sunday Jan 24, 2021

When you appeal to God’s heart, you can expect to see God’s hand. The God of the universe is not moved most by your love or dedication for Him, but He is moved by His love for you. The word “blessed” gets thrown around a lot in Christian circles. Being blessed does not mean living a life without suffering; it means having the presence and unalterable promises of God in those situations. It means having a life in which God is committed to conforming you more toward the image of Jesus and bringing others to know Jesus through you. Mary learned what it meant to be blessed, because she recognized God’s presence and promises were always with her.

Family Ties: All the Fixins
Sunday Dec 06, 2020
Sunday Dec 06, 2020
Family is not an emotionally neutral subject. We either have positive or negative emotions concerning our family members. Regardless of our good or bad experiences, or what the hurt was like, or how much time has gone by since we spoke, we were created to care when it comes to family. Sometimes this means that we have to engage in the process of reconciliation. As Christians, we really have no choice in the matter but to open the door for reconciliation.
